The Spring ’24 Consulting Training Program (CTP)

Consulting Pathways (Wesleyan’s Consulting Club), in partnership with the Gordon Career Center, is once again running the Consulting Training Program (CTP) this semester.

CTP is a robust and rigorous 10-week bootcamp intelligently designed to help you prepare for a management consulting internship or full-time job at a top firm like McKinsey, BCG, and Bain.

Registration:

You can register for the Spring 2024 training program through this link.

Registration closes on Friday, February 23rd and the first session will be on Sunday, February 25th.

— What You’ll Learn —

This semester-long program targets five key competencies for success in consulting recruitment.

  1. The Case Interview
  2. Industry Overview
  3. Networking
  4. The Behavioral Interview
  5. Capstone (Resume, cover letter, answer for ‘why consulting’)

— What You’ll Get Out of It —

Develop a thorough grounding in consulting. We have vetted and selected the best content and resources to help you get ready for recruiting. Let us save you time and effort by offering you what you really need to get ready.

Get a leg up against your competition. This comprehensive and robust program will propel you through the recruiting process and is unlike anything else offered at similar schools.

Build Your Network. Participants who complete the program will be invited to connect with current consultants and network with industry experts at special invite-only events.

Stay on Course. The program will also help you stay on track with your recruiting prep, as it will guide you from wherever you are to accepting that offer. Preparing for management consulting can be daunting and often requires long term preparation.

Certificate of Completion. After completing all the requirements for CTP, participants will receive a certificate of completion issued by Consulting Pathways. This accomplishment can be added to your resume to demonstrate a longstanding commitment to consulting preparation.

Requirements:

Students are required to fulfill the requirements outlined during the first meeting of the semester.

The content of this course is a combination of Consulting Pathways workshops, Gordon Career Center events, and external preparation requirements.

  • Each Consulting Pathways workshop will be held weekly on Sundays from 4pm-5pm ET in PAC 001. Attendance will be recorded at each workshop. If you can’t make it to a session, you are required to watch the recording.
  • Students are expected to attend all eight workshops
  • The Consulting Pathways workshops will include about 30 minutes of lecture-style content and 30 minutes of live conversation and activities.
  • Any events that are co-sponsored with the Gordon Career Center will range in their topic and structure.
